Friend of mine and his family will be there friday. Drives a silver chevy truck pulling a white enclosed trailer. "Dstroyer" is his name on here.
My wife and I, along with some others we know will be down there saturday. Im driving a black chevy truck pulling a black enclosed trailer.
Look us up if your there saturday. We will be riding a pair of Raptors. Ones a little special.
The place is a decent place to ride. you need flags, you can get them there.
The back woods area is probably a swamp. The center wooded area has some nice STEEP hill climbs, but beware, they peak at the top and go down just as steep.
I actually havent been there in a few years so thats about all I really remember that you need to be aware about. Rest of its pretty tame.

i hope you guys have fun. me and my family are going Monday and Tuesday. Yeah i love riding here because i like the dunes. But there is such a variety. i've never been to a place with more places to ride. Like what they said, you have to be careful for the drop-offs on the other side. I about rolled my ds650 down a 50 foot cliff because right after the hill it turns to the right and i relized at the last second and locked them up. Luckly my father-in-law was on his utility behind me on the trail with a winch cause as soon as my rear tire started coming up we were able to use it and was able to pull me back up onto the trail.....Be Careful!

Well we did have a good time. We got there at about 9:00 and left right at 5:00. We parked by some good ole boys and all went really well. (We were parked a couple spots from a school bus turned quad hauler. (Dodge flat bed with a blue open trailer) Only problem we had was tearing a vavle stem out. I ended up taking it to the dealer right outside of the gate which stuck it to me for 14 bucks! (to break down 1 side and put a new vavle stem in) Wasn't to happy about that but its done.
All in all it was a good time. My sons are looking forward to going back!

I have two boys 5 and 9. My wife and I would like to take them to the Badlands. Are there places for them to ride or is it just for adults? The youngest has a Meerkat 50 and the oldest has a modified Raptor 50.

There is alot of places they could ride. Last Friday, there were alot of smaller kids riding small quads and having a blast!! I didn't think most of the hills were to bad, just be sure they understand what they go up, they will go down on the other side. You can pretty easly avoid the big hills and still have a blast.
Being from Southern Indiana, we are use to big hills. At the Badlands, we rode up alot of hills that some adults wouldn't. My 400 had the biggest problem hill climbing. I never realized how worn my back tires were untill Friday. Both of my sons didn't have near the problems climbing as I did. (I spun every where I tried to go) At least I have a reason for getting some new rear tires now.
ENJOY AND BE SAFE!!
