Default dove springs or jawbone

I have never been to either and only know that they are 10(?) miles apart but would like to know which place offers better wide open riding. Please describe how wide are the trails overall and what type of terrain e.g. sandy whoops and/or rocky terrain, flat, dunes(?), hillclimbs . Any feedback appreciated.

Great trail map: http://www.jawbone.org/index.htm

They are close enough that you can explore them both on a day ride. I find Jawbone to be awfully whooped out.
