If you want to come west to the west side of TN the Mississippi River is down low and has some huge sandbars. Nothing organized jsut miles and miles of sand bars. From here to you is just over 4 hours. My inlaws are outside Chatt so I come that way pretty regularly.
If you can find Ripley TN n the map you can get to the river and camp and ride for hours...

Or search around for an abandoned quarry. There's one here in East Knoxville - called the sand pits - About 40 to 50 acres with half of it sand. Off of mine road in East Knox county. Not exactly legal to ride there - one of those things where if you're too noisy and someone complains then the cops will run you off. As I usually ride with my kids I've not been there in several years but I've seen posters on these boards who still go.

Thanks a lot Jay, have you ever been out to Coal Creek? I was hoping to get up there this weekend (Labor Day Weekend) for just a look around but too many chores have come up I do believe.
Thanks again and have a good weekend,
Brian
