We used to have a saying in the air force, IHTFP=i have truly found paradise, or i hate this f------ place. Well i have truly found paradise. Western nevada, within 3-4 hours drive, trails that go on forever, you pick the terrain. On last trip we rode to the top of mt. patterson, 11,700 ft one day, the next day we did 30 plus miles of desert riding. Friendly people, inexpensive food and lodging, i could go on and on. Try Nevada, you'll like it...........

 

The Eastern Sierra, Great Basin, and Intermountain Ranges (between the Sierras and Rockies) are one of the best kept secrets there is........
