Sound like a plan....
Glad we got some others to join. Its always nice to share.
FYI.
Millers canyon is dry now, all the snow is gone but we will definitly hit snow and mud as we get up in elevation and some of the draws and canyons.

Bring the warm clothes.

I'm still sick, so I'm out for tommorow! (Left you a message on your cell.)

We are hoping to ride next weekend somewhere (MLK weekend), if you are interested. I should be well by then......

Sound like a plan to me.....let me know.
From my house, the mt's got a nice dusting but we are supposed to get a nice snow system move in by Thursday night that should leave a nice fresh blanket for us to ride through.

By the way I am bringing a Chainsaw this time. I had to back track a lot of trails with downed trees blocking last time. I talked to forest service while up there and they said that they will be trail clearing over the week but I doubt they got to all trails. Either way better safe then sorry, plus I can carry the wait anyway.

by the wayHow are you feeling?

I'm open either Saturday or Sunday, but looks like heavy precipitation is expected on Saturday...so Sunday might be best...but I'm up for anything...

My ear is better, but not 100% yet. I did about 100 miles of hard a$$ riding last weekend at Ocotillo, and didn't have any problems.

Sunday works for me...We can play it by ear (sorry) for now and see what the weather has in store for us.

Looks like there should be heavy snow Saturday...maybe even to much???? I know they closed the Grapevine, but have they closed Cajon at any time lately??? If the road is closed, there won't be any way to get up there....

That looked like a great ride in Idyllwild.

I live here in Murrieta which is very close and have never heard of any legal trails up there.

How do you get to this trail?

Thanks!

I have never ridden up there, but I have friends who do. It is all fire roads, and non-technical I think. I would just follow the map and go out and search for the trailheads. A stop at a ranger station for directions might help....
