Heading to OW this Saturday for a day trip. Having never been there after a rain, which we're expecting Thursday and Friday of this week, anybody have a good idea of how the rain changes things?

Any water remaining in the washes? Any mud worth the fun?

Just curious, I'm expecting it to be a blast.

Lots of mud holes! Sould be freshly washed out stuff as well. Everything can be changed completely after a rain. Paved roads flood as well, so be sure you can actually get there before you leave home!!!

We got caught there once in a flash flood. It was raining in the hills to the north, but not where we were. We were headed up a wash, and were met by a wall of water. Had to wait it out for several hours before the water went down. Interesting times!!!
