I take the kids to the spillway all of the time can anyone give me some other ideas? and how to get there.

 

Red creek & Sandhill in Miss. Red creek is about an hour from Slidell, Sandhill about 30 mins. in Poplarville I think. Also there is a campground between Folsom, and Franklinton on Hwy. 21 or 22 it's 20.00 a day to ride. In S.E. La. not too many places to ride. The spillway is pretty much it. If you find any new places let me know I have been looking myself.

 

There is Scenic Trails in Perkinston, Ms.; Silver Creek Campground in Mount Herman, La.; Rattlesnake Hill in Poplarville, Ms.; Up The Creek Acres in Carriere, Ms. All of these have web sites. Hope this helps.

Right past Lake charles and sulphur/starks la area about 5 miles into texas off hwy 87 is a big park -Texas Hogwallow. They have a website with info and maps. Texas Hogwallow Website
