I have a 11,500 in the family room and a 6000 in the bedroom, best investment in 9 yrs of living in my place

My computer is 3ft from the air conditioner and the ceiling fan is 5ft away, blows all that cold air around the room

We have central heat, just not A/C. Generally it's not an issue, just a week or two out of the year is where we wish we had A/C.

We're looking at a heat pump, but probably not until this fall.
