NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Broke my ankle when I was, I think, 13 years old. After the cast came off I couldn't put on a boot to ride a horse. Dad's solution was to cut a boot from the top down to below the ankle and then I could wrap it with an Ace Bandage. He saw no real reason I couldn't at least chase some cows around while I finished healing up.
It worked for work, maybe it would work for play.

Now they may fit into my older boots, but there is no way I will cut my boots.
You father was a wise man!
Did you happen to know any of the Knudsens from the Heart K Ranch up at Taneum Creek?
He rarely goes to it, he's too busy researching attic airflow.
Good Morning PSAR!
Chilly 55 with a strong west wind this morning. What's with this weather anyway?
Between people yelling and whispering I'm about to throw my hearing aid away, kind of like having the grandkids around.
Grandson finally managed to tip his quad over. Scared the heck out of him but he got right back on and tried again. Little steep spot where we had taken out one of the old corral fences. Instead of using it for a little jump he decided to go sideways on it. Plop.
Try to stay warm today.
Mike
Morning PSAR
Well the gal that helped w/ the pigs the other night stopped by last night & when she got home & told her husband the story he was disturbed so they filed a complaint w/ the state patrol, I am waiting for a call from a Lt. who was also disturbed & wanted to hear my end of the story!! They can't figure out why he discharged his gun SIX times, & never said a word ONE to the people standing by the pig at the time I hope he gets some kind of discipline, he could of told the people to step back, the gals son was 2' from the animal when the officer shot it :Q Trev was just across the street what if a bullet would of ricochet(sp)? anyway we'll see what comes about of it

Not only that DM but there was kids there and what if parents didn't want their kids seeing that. He could of gave them some notice to get the kids away. Also I guess he thought the pig was going to jump up and take off since it was already hit by a vehicle. I think he should take a hunting class to learn that animals do not die instantly. Even if you shoot them in there head there is still going to be alittle bit of twitching. Damn some people are stupid!
My Dad's cousin had a 2500 acre cattle ranch there.
My cousin was Miss Black Velvet Rodeo when I was in college and she gave me a signed poster that said "Love you, Rod!" I didn't tell my frat brothers she was my cousin.
Guess I'd better go in there and poke around my account, take off all those naked pictures of me
