Good Morning PSAR!

Everyone slept in here this morning, didn't get out of bed till almost seven. No watering of the garden this morning as our daughter and SIL come out on fridays to spend the day and mess around in the dirt. Weekly party kind of thing.

Supposed to stay hot for the next few days, it's 81 now and climbing steadily. AC is working great so if it gets too warm outside we'll just retreat to the inside.

Nope, Rod, I don't need another two ton gut. Got my own and have just enough energy to pack it around.

They can raise it 100% along with cigs also and it wouldn't bother me one bit

Now if they raised the markup on ice cream, I'd really be PO'd

 

Let's see, a 12.1% increase in the price of booze will mean the Governor will be able to have a few more parties at the official residence. Wonder why the COLA for state employees and retirees did not amount to that much? I got a whopping $6.00 per month raise. Told SWMBO we could now go out to dinner but she will have to order off Jack's dollar menu.

Been warm again today, high of 107 and the west wind has come up again. Really dries things out.

Dang grasshoppers are showing up, big suckers this year, I'm going to have to spray just sure as anything. Hate to do that to the garden and young trees but those suckers will eat everything in site.

Stay out of the sun folks, supposed to be hotter for the next couple of days.

sure glad i picked up an extra $100 air conditioner at costco this past april

one in the kitchen,,,,one in the bedroom kept the house under 72 degrees during the hottest parts of the day

glad the cooler weather has showed up
