Ha! A least the little sucker didn't go to waste. Doubt if they had ham from that pig, takes awhile to cure it. Fresh pork would be good. Did you know that pig is one of the few animals you can kill and eat right away? Most critters you have to cool the meat before cooking or there's a good chance you'll get sick. Something about the bacteria in the meat and your digestive system. I think bear and cat can be eaten fresh IIRC.

Wind still blows like crazy and it only got up to 72 today. Strange weather.

Gonna go watch the sunset.

Good Morning PSAR!

Get out of bed you sleepy heads. It's a beautiful clear morning and the sun is about to come up. Wind is down and it's really pretty out.

Oldest grandson's birthday today, the party starts at 10:30 and your more than welcome to come have cake and ice cream.

Getting to where the sun is coming up so late I can't see to do anything till about 5:15, fall is on it's way.

Going to be tough to have anything but a good day today.

Dogs are at their doggie hotel lounging by the pool side... Got the bikes all packed and ready to go over to Glacier to ride "Going to the Sun Road" tour around the area, and do a few other touristy things. I haven't been there for 25 years, at that time I wasn't all that interested in scenery, etc. Looking forward to taking it all in...

We're trailering the bikes over and staying in our motorhome. We'll scope things out and possibly ride out next year. There's a loop that looks cool to ride, from Glacier through Banff back through Kamloops and home. Chris - make a note.
