Just make sure they're in the house before they meet up with both barrels!

Good Morning PSAR!

Dang thieves are everywhere anymore. Not as prevalent here as in the Puget Sound region I don't believe. I kind of thing they know nearly everyone in a rural area "sleeps with the shotgun" or something equally as loud. Hope the police manage to catch the %#*&%.

Bunch of quads went by the house yesterday, must have been twenty or so of them. All wearing helmets and nice riding gear, definitely not local folks as there was not a cowboy hat to be seen. No idea where they came from or were going but they were moving right along. Hope the police didn't see them as there have been some tickets issued for people out sport riding on county roads this summer. Police seem to be leaving the folks using the quads for farm work alone, guess they are calling them farm equipment which means they have use of non-major hiways and all county roads. I see more and more quads with a ten or fifteen gallon spray tank and pump on the back rack. Makes sense during this hot, dry weather.

It's cooled off quite a bit from two days ago, 107 Deg., and only hit 85 yesterday. 45 this morning and supposed to be around 85 again today. Have one side of the house to pressure wash yet and hope to get that and the new front steps done today.

Have a "Happy Feet" kind of day.

Mike

hey gang,

Just got the Z back together with new clutch, water pump rebuild, valve clearnce check and some major cleaning. Started right up and runs good exept it sounds awful! I still hear a metal wearing noise from inside the engine. Same sound I hear on the last day of our dune trip. I'm thinking the cylinder and piston might need to be replaced. Maybe even the rod bearings are worn? I guess the only way to find out is to a full tear down of the motor which I don't really want to do. Last time I rode it the power was there and everything ran great except for the clogged radiator that was causing it to over heat. What should I do? Should I just keep running it until something happens or tear it apart?
