Good Morning PSAR!

Sounds like things are reasonably under control this morning.

SWMBO is getting ready, road trip today to pick up some more garden tractor stuff. Getting quite a pile of it and have been selling stuff at a reasonable profit. Not a way to get rich but it does give the opportunity to keep the best of the stuff for our use.

Been so wet and cold I haven't even rode up to the mountains in quite a while. Guess that's OK since no one talks quads her anymore anyway. Few weeks I'll be up there for awhile fixing fence. Folks running the place don't know where all the lines are so I'll have company while they learn.

Have a super day, what's this about a storm?

Mike

Good Afternoon PSAR!

When we left this morning it was around 35 degrees and wind from the east. While we were gone a storm came thru and dumped between 3 and 4" of snow. It's melting off now but sure belies the old thing of and early Easter means an early spring. It's Palm Friday after all.

Got the tiller and mower deck. Both are in close to new condition and show excellent maintenance. Tiller shanks have virtually no wear.

SWMBO took more time shopping at various stores for Easter stuff than I did swapping and buying from the guy. Who woulda thunk?

I think if it was just Chris, he would tent it, but with his girlfriend and the other couple in their 50's, they want a soft mattress, not so much his girlfriend, but the other couple.

Good Morning PSAR!

Nice of those young people to be considerate of the older folks don't you think Rod? Old bones need their rest and real Iron Men make the STP in one day I've been told. I couldn't ride that in a month.

Just 30 degrees with some overcast and lots of frost this morning. Have to fix the lights on the trailer today, tail lights quit working yesterday. Fortunately the turn/brakes kept working and it was daylight.

You folks have a great day. Once you get out of bed.

It's funny when Chris talks to me about this other couple, refers to them of the older couple, in their early 50's and I ask, oh like me? and he just chuckles and says yeah, I guess so, kinda funny the way he says it, I don't think he wants to refer to me as old

I might try it in one day next year, really need a drop bar road bike to get it done at my age, I ain't no spring chicken ya know

Sometimes it's the old roosters that get all the scratchin and crowin done.

When you decide to do that in one day, use something with a motor.

Snowed here again today, kids out doing the egg hunt thing in the cold. They and their dad colored a bunch of eggs this morning, with grandpa and grandmas expert help of course. Grandma had boiled at least three dozen eggs yesterday and those all got the treatment. We got the boys some Easter Baskets and their dad, aunt Josie and uncle Dean added all kinds of toys and stuff. Almost like Christmas again. Too bad they will spend the day tomorrow with their mom as I'd really like to take them to church with us. They know the real celebration reasons but the eggs and all that are fun. We'll read the Easter story tonight from the New Standard Version of the Bible and I'll read each passage from the Old English version so they know how the old language sounds.

Ham and baked spuds with all kinds of good stuff for supper tonight. Be SWMBO, the boys, their dad, Josie, Dean and our son David and his wife Carmen here. With everyone taking turns reading it should be a nice evening.

Hope you all have a super day before Easter evening and a wonderful Easter Sunday. Whatever you believe and however you celebrate or not you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike

That's the only way I'd try it at all!
