Not much work going on over here in the construction trades.
I am now basically doing laborer work until my next finish work job rolls around.
Drastic cut in pay but something is better than nothing.
Foot and ankle are getting better, I guess.
Still hurts every day. Some days more than others, some days less.
Sometimes I hardly limp at all.

I still see afew new houses down here in the south.

The finish carpentry is going for around 90 cents to $1.00 a foot.
I was always working on higher end homes with full custom finish carpentry. $3.00 - $5.00 a foot plus custom stairs and so on,,,,,,
So many carpenters out of work it's hard to compete with the foreigners who charge way too little.
Right now the builders that are building are not concerned about quality, just price.

No working for the man today
Hit the rowing machine and stairs today, then work on the bathroom
I've routed a 115 mile ride for Chris and I, just need a decent Saturday or Sunday in the next couple of weeks. For the STP in July, we've decided to complete 150 miles the first day, mainly because the only motels with available rooms are in Kelso, does make for a easier second day riding into Portland though
