Hi there Mike!

We had a good ride on Sunday until the Blaster had a top end meltdown.

We are now shopping for a new cylinder and piston.

Good Morning PSAR!

Too bad about the meltdown Rod, what caused it? Too many hours or lube problem?

Neighbors hired man ruined a Ford 360 in a harrowbed the other day. Thing broke a radiator hose and was spewing steam all over but he thought it would be OK to drive it back to their shop. It was only about six miles. I had a good used 390 so they borrowed it to get thru the season which will take about three more weeks of intermittent use.

I went to the mountains last week and spent a day looking at fence lines. Lot's of grass and low brush this year, good deer and cattle feed. Pretty riding around on the quad. Lots quicker than a horse for sure.

I'd like to get involved in a ride this fall sometime if a few people can get away at the same time. Even a road ride at Candy Mt or something similar. My leg won't let me ride very rough stuff anymore so "fast and furious" is out of my league.

Have a good one.

Mike

Tony,
We rode out at Darrington, staged at the campground on the very end of the Sauk Prairie Road.

Probably going to go camping there this summer, just weekend camping trips, after we get back from the dunes.

Hi Mike,
I think it was a fuel issue, running too lean for some reason, and got too hot.

I had a son do that once with my old Toyota truck, drove after htting a deer and puncturing the radiator. Lucky he only drove about 1 mile and the engine survived.

A group ride in the fall sounds great. Maybe over at Easton, pretty easy riding over there for the most part.

Hello PSAR!

For you Ford F350 guys, Justin and I have a question for you. Justin's tranny is acting up and he is getting some codes. First one was P0728, something to do with Shirting between 2-3. So he cheanged the tranny filter and oil and he got another code P0732, which is Gear 2 incorrect ratio. I have been trying to find out what this really means. I have come down to the malfunction will be caused with shift solenoid valve B is stuck open. Now my question is, is there a diagram of the valve layout of the tranny (not sure what you exactly call this). Or does anybody have a mechanical book that might beable to email me a diagram? I would really appreciate it if you could?? Thanks

Other than that, everything else is going ok I guess! We are going to Baker Lake this weekend with a bunch of people. Hopefully it warms up alittle bit. I think there is going to be more kids than adults so that will be fun. LOL :-) Atleast my little bug is big enough to go on the playground.

I hope all is well with everyone!

What year is the truck. Check the fuses under the hood. I've seen the 1st gear shift fuse blow alot and you will be starting off in 2nd gear every time. I have Alldata online at my shop and can print you any info you want for your truck.
