I have come down to the malfunction will be caused with shift solenoid valve B is stuck open. Now my question is, is there a diagram of the valve layout of the tranny (not sure what you exactly call this). Or does anybody have a mechanical book that might beable to email me a diagram? I would really appreciate it if you could?? Thanks

What year is the truck. Check the fuses under the hood. I've seen the 1st gear shift fuse blow alot and you will be starting off in 2nd gear every time. I have Alldata online at my shop and can print you any info you want for your truck.

Thanks Tony!

It's a 2000 F350 Superduty 7.3L Diesel. He basically needs to know which Valve the 2nd gear is and I guess he doesn't have reverse anymore either. He puts it in reverse and it doesn't engage. He gives it alittle gas and it "clunks" into it. I'm sure he already did but I will call him right now and tell him to check the fuses. :-)

Not a good day over here today. Last night we had to put down the old Corgi dog. He had been sick for a couple of weeks and in the dog hospital for several days. His kidneys failed and there was no hope for recovery.

Laid him to rest under a big pine behind the house where he will be the last thing the sun sees as it sets.

Mike sorry to hear about the old Corgi dog. I don't think it's ever easy laying a pet down to rest.

RIP Corgi dog!

The 2nd gear solenoid has a VT/OG wire going to it. If it takes a while to go into rev. he may have more problems than a solenoid. Check to see if the fluid smells burnt.

Good Sunny Sunday Morning PSAR!

Clear skies, west breeze and family predicted for us today. All the kids will be here and the grandsons as well. Going to be a busy day around here.

I appreciate the well wishes about Indy Dog, he was a good friend and loving dog. He was just a little older than the oldest grandson so it was especially hard on Nick. He's moving on and doing fine.

Stopped at the assisted living place we visited and told them about Indy, they knew he was sick and there were quite a few tears shed. Took our other dog, Pepper, in, she's a little Schnauzer and hard to resist. Guess she's going to be the new attraction.

Have to replace the drive belt in the Prairie one of these days, not looking forward to that project, have to make a special tool I understand. Lot's to get done before the kids show up, you all have a great day and try to keep the rubber side down.

Hey there Mike, glad the weather is finally getting better on both side of the hump.

We used to have a miniature Schnauzer and they're fun dogs.

Probably going to swap out all tires and put sand shoes on all the quads today.
I don't think we'll be trail riding before the dune trip (LESS THAN 3 WEEKS NOW!!!)
