Good Afternoon PSAR!

Been awhile since I stopped in. Sounds like things are churning along in good shape. I'm probably the only one here thats doing any riding to speak of. Been spending quite a bit of time in the mountains and open pastures checking fence and watching the dumb ol cows. Quad sure is a lot faster and easier on the back than a horse.

We are in the midst of garden harvest now. SWMBO has nearly filled a 19 CF freezer with vacuum packed green beans and corn off the cob so far. Lots of quarts of pickles and relish has been put away. The herb garden has been producing way more than can be cured and stored even with giving away as much as we can get rid of. The summer squash that came from Russia is really something special. It's a so called "heritage" plant so we just save the seeds for next year. We have a bunch of different plants that are natural and you don't have to buy seeds each year. Some of the pumpkins are hard to get rid of. I tillered in some from last year and we have stray pumpkin plants here and there now. Same way with the sunflowers, had to pull a bunch of them so they wouldn't take over the garden. Course carrots, lettuce, beets and all that stuff is in abundance. Been keeping the neighbors well supplied.

I understand we are getting a third big freezer this next week. Apparently two is simply not enough. Good grief!

Rod, the construction business down this way has picked up a little but not all that much. Still a lot of talented people working outside their trades. Couple of guys are going to be repairing some metal roof for us next week. Wind damage again, just can't seem to get enough screws and glue on things to hold them down. No wonder there are so many windmills being put up around here.

Hap I'm glad to see your still kicking, too bad you still root for those dawgs.

Mike

Hey Mike,

The only reason I talk about the Dawgs is to get Rod riled up, Texas Longhorns are my team

Rod, Iv'e ridden it aroud the shop and the front stay's on the ground. Iv'e put the engine towards the front to help that. The rear lights up at about 1/8 throttle on any surface. Iv'e ridden it 3 times and I'm shaking like a leaf when I get off. It's nickname is OMG.
