Everybody must be out enjoying this fantastic weather while I'm laying around with a bum foot, would be a great day for yard work </end quote></div>

Excuse me, but NO day is a good, let alone great day, for yard work.

The main problem is, is that it's called yard WORK.
If it was enjoyable it would be called yard fun or yard play!

Well, my second DVR Box in 6 months from Comcast has craped out and can't get another one till Monday. Makes me want to buy my own higher quality unit and get away from this rental crap

Well, the doc called today and said the Outlaw is ready.

Apparently a nut came off the starter and pressed up against the side case, deforming it enough to cause a gap to allow the oil to flow out. Had to replace the nut and side case. He believes the nut wasn't torqued properly when manufactured.

I haven't looked at the motor before, but the puzzling part is why that nut (on a starter) would be rotating while not running the starter. Maybe I mis-understood him when he was explaining it over the phone. I'll ask more questions when I pick it up.

6 bills... better than 2k.</end quote></div>

I understand starters become alternaters, once the quad is running.

Finally caught up, since the dunes. WB was awsome. Eveyone rode into the trailer and walked to the pick up. What could be better?

I picked up the quad today. The nut that came off the end of the crank, which explains the engine stopping and having enough force to push the side-case out.
