Thunderstorm didn't bother me till this morning, heard a very loud boom that pretty much jolted me out of bed

Aren't there maps you use to keep you out of those situations?

We had a Great Dane that at 6 mths old chewed the arm off a sofa, including the 2x4 of the frame work, we were only gone for 4 hrs in the evening. That was the last time he stayed inside the house with us not home. At 6 mths old, he stood 6', he had a very hardy appetite [img][/img]</end quote></div>
Cooper, the hound we had for a while a few years ago was a great dog when we were around, but had huge separation anxiety issues. He trashed the screens on the back of the house trying to claw his way into the windows and chewed a bunch of siding off the back. I replaced the siding, but its still in primer, as a reminder.
When we tried crating him instead, he chewed his way through the plastic crate, there was a huge bloody mess waiting for us when we got home that time. He needed a family with a stay-at-home parent because other than the separation issues he was a great dog.

Good morning PSAR. I slept like a log - didn't hear any storm at all, but woke up to everything wet outside.
Hope the weather is better for the folks camping at the dunes.
tne, this should keep the dust down for you.</end quote></div>
yup we were hoping for a day or 2 of rain,

there are plenty of charts/maps,,,but there are plenty more stupid people
If you look at the Google satellite image of edmonds,,,you can see the sandbar from space, clear as day Terraserver has an even better arial photograph of it...
this guy must have been going at least 25-30 MPH,,,,he carved a V in the sand and the boat was at no risk of tipping on its side,,,and his Volvo outdrive was hammered (cha-ching$, cha-ching$)
that sandbar is an off-leash dog park,,,,people and dogs were milling about all around the boat,,,,,he must have felt like an idiot
i couldnt stop laughing every time i looked over and saw him sitting there
