Here...... Been doing the same thing nwcutie has been doing! Sand tires on and quad loaded just finishing up some odds and ends.

 

Oil change is done, Nerf Bars are on the truck, Trailer brake is installed, GPS is loaded so I don"t get lost again at horsfall[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img], tomorrow the quad rack goes on the new truck, trailer is packed,Wine and Bailys are in, Friday...gone...Sand...Yee Haw[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Tuesday and Wendsday are state certification testing days at work....2 long years of hard work getting my guys ready, we'll see how well they remember to put the wet stuff on the red stuff...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

YES! I found a slightly scuffed(matching the rest of my truck) but straight tailgate for my truck today on craiglist. Even the correct color. $150, which is much better than the $400+ the junkyards have been quoting me for the last 5 months, when they don't even have them in stock. I MISSED having a tailgate, bigtime. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Propane tanks are full.

I wasn't sure if draining all (I hoped) of the water from the trailer was sufficient to keep everything ok. Last year, the lines froze when the trailer was at the shop and they ended up replacing some pipes that burst.

Today, we put water onboard (not a lot) and ran the pump - checked for leaks - every thing seems good to go - whew!!!!

I'm not heading down until Sunday - I'll stay with my aunt sunday and head over to the campground Monday - should miss a lot of the crowds. According to accuweather, should be ok - course we have our raingear packed too [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Maybe we'll get lucky - we bought new raingear for Thanksgiving and it was beautiful instead[img]i/expressions/sun.gif[/img]
