Now, now, I didn't mean to get anyone wound up. I too have been working a lot. I am a business manager with a twin cities auto group and am obligated to work more hours. I haven't been able to get out myself. It seems like if it is not work then it is something else (all very important). One of the guys going has a cabin in Barnes, WI. We are staying there and then riding north to Iron River. Should be a very full day of riding. Very exciting! I hope we all stay safe.

Fantastic!!! We will be in Park Falls this weekend for our Halloween Ride. Should be interesting. Saturday we'll ride the Flambeau Trails and then I suppose a short ride on Sunday. If you all Get over that way - we'll be at the Sugarbush on Saturday night....they have a halloween party and there will be a band. We are dressing up both for the Sat Ride and also the Sugarbush.... LOADS of fun!!! Shawn.....you should come over and ride with us!!!! Everyone is always welcome to join!!!

hmm seems I also have posted a number of times w/ no reply.. but O well
Let's try this & see if I get a response.
Going to Idaho end of april or early may to ride the dunes for a few days then maybe some trails around the area myself & 2 others so far are going nothing is set in stone so any ideas are welcome. hope thats enought notice [img][/img]</end quote></div>
Hey butcher you going to the dunes there? If my quad isn't sold by then that would be cool I still want to ride dunes. School is way to busy and money is tight to have a wheeler right now. But im not going to give it away so well see how long I have it for. (im still nervous to ride on trails)

I was wondering - since I've never done it...... are dunes hard to ride in? are there different equipment needed like tires etc?? I suppose too, it is probably more of a better choice to have a sport quad???

A quick question, how does the parking brake block off work? Do you just get rid of the P brake?

I was wondering that, too. Since I have no experience in the dunes... How do the 4wd machines work? Would non-dune tires on a sport quad work well?</end quote></div>
Guys the dunes are a blast & very ez to ride in, thay dont beat ya up like the trails do, & when I was in glamis I use sand tires on the rear but used my stock dunlop tires on the front, But there were guys out there w/ just stock tires (thay just cant climb the bigger hills) I also seen a lot of 4x4/Uti's out there most had stock tires on, but there were a few w/ just rears & also see a few w/ sand tires on all 4 wheels....But very fun....

Yep parking break, parking break lever, cable, on some quads it drops like 2 1/2 lbs Its ez to do the hard part is tracking your cable & removing it not sure on the raptor but ya might hav to remove the gas tank & some plastic to get at it I know BS did his on his 660 & it was not hard to do...If ya need a hand w/ it PM me & I could walk ya throught it
