I used the quad today it has been 4 months. I was forced to use it to pull an ice house and it acctually did a good job. Im thinking of studding the tires with snowmobile studs and useing tubes.

Dont even mess w/ the snowmobile studs to spendy & ruin your tires for the summer. I have used in the past 3/16 sheet meatel screws from ace hardware there cheap & do a great job out on the ice, I did not ride last year to much in the winter but the year b4, I put 300 of those little suckers in my Zs tires & I was pulling wheelies w/ no problem on the ice...

Speaking of ice A few of use are going icefishing over to WI the weekend of the 9th of jan, As of right now Maybe even Tood might make the trip & a few guys that went to the cycle show w/ us we will be staying & a motel 6 in ladysmith & fishing Holcome floage, last years trip a buddy pulled out a 15inch Crappie...

If anyone is up for icefishing let me know.....

Tapp also we are putting a ride togeather for the spring, Looks like we are going to the dunes in idaho like the last few weeks in may, if ya want to go let me know....

The cold weather is causing me to have extreme spring fever...

Does everyone just hibernate? I can't wait until March and less snow is on the ground. Danbury, frozen ground atv trails are open until March 31st or until posted closed. We rode last spring on the very last weekend in March and it was a TON of fun! I even hit a tree and wiped out a nerf bar. GOOD TIMES!!!

I posted this in the tire & wheel section, but maybe someone here can give me their opinion. Thanks!

Any advantage to the larger rims? I am seriously contemplating the holeshot HDs for the trail conditions I normally ride on. 20x11x10 vs OEM 20x11x9 Any suggestions... comments... ???
