Yeah it is very sad. But that is the way society is today. I am not that old, but I think my father did a damn good job of raising me correctly. i respect others ( If they Deserve it) and I respect others property, whatever it may be. The fact that I have to have someone police it is sad, but at least it gives his dogs a place to run around. And he shoots there now. So in the end I guess it all worked out. He helps us a lot when we need it, and I return the favor when ever he needs it. But the fact still remains. It is sad that It had to come to that. If they would have won in court, it would have cost my Family the land probably. And it cost enough in court costs to begin with!! not to mention the Lawyers!

We are lucky in NH. Landowners are protedted from liability weather they give permission to use land or not (at least as far as you can be protected now adays). Just like the good samaritian law. In some states, if you try and help an accident victim and ACCIDENTLY cause more harm, but the person would have died with out the help you did give, they can still sue you becasue of the harm that you did cause them. STUPID!!! We dont have to worry about that either.

Just like the license plate says, LIVE FREE OR DIE

Just another thought, maybe the rocks were put there to stop trucks and vehicles from going down there, but atv's are ok.
