Looking for some new trails. Been to antigo mercer brf monroe adams. I Live close to Madison and would like to try new places that might be more challenging (muddy). We Usually go to clark county. These are great trails but getting boring.

Try the Dead Horse Trail or trails around Iron River, Ashland, Washburn, Bayfield. I have been coming to WI for the last 15 years to ride the trails with my brother in law.

Looking online is Iron Horse or Dead Horse Better. When we went from mercer to hurley it seamed like all we road on were gravel roads and the trail was poorly marked.

Do you know what county that trail system is in?

Is it in the Chequamegon National Forest?

I rather like the Birchwood trails in SW Sawyer county, actually not far from the Deadhorse.

Iron county by Hurley is supposed to have some nasty trails. Have a ride scheduled up there this summer.

There is a road off of FF in Mercer called Swamp Creek Road. It is an ATV trail and then turns into a pretty muddy trail with some good obsticals. It takes you to a bar on a lake in the middle of nowhere. They sell bear meat burgers, so it is pretty cool. I like going that route.

The best way to really challange your ATV is at a park like the Badlands in attica, IN. There are more further down south.

I think that yes it does go thru that at some point...and the Tuscobia may be in there also. I havet sat down and gone thru the route yet....
Here are the new WI ATV guides...
They are free - just get on their mailing list...It is really interesting and shows the trail systems all together!! You should go along too...
