Default How safe is the Hotel at Black River Falls Wi

I'm going to stay at the Bestwestern this weekend with my family and my 3 quads on my open snowmobile trailer and I hope I go home with then. Is their any security probles their. I have locks for everything but I don't want to wake up and find my tires and seat gone. I havn't heard any probles but you never know. And how are the trails their I have never rode them but if their anything like Clark County it should be great. Thanks

I have stayed there twice & never had any problem. I lock the hitch to the ball & back up against the split rail fence. Also I run a kryptonite cable between the 2 machine frames. I prefer the BRF trails to Clark county. As a note the trail from HWY 54 to Hatfield is closed for maintainance. We were down there w/e before last.

There are usually a few dozen vehicles with trailers and quads. I always play it safe and lock up everything as much as possible. Don't give them any reason. You should be fine.

Stayed there a few times with no problems. Stored the quads on an open flatbed inthe parking lot - did use a cable snaked between all of them just to be safe. But, there was never any evidence that anything was ever even touched. There is generally a fair amount of activity there between people staying at the lodge and those at the campground.

Maybe the thieves are afraid of the big orange moose.

You may want to check with the DNR about trail status. I know that right around the first of June that a 10 mile section right in the middle of the BRF trails was closed down due to flooding and overuse. You could still get from Arrowhead throughthe Milston loop but the closed section blocked access by trail to Hatfield and Pray.
