Pisgah State Park, Southern NH Ride
#1
Guys,
Myself and a few buds from NEATV are heading to Pisgah State Park in SouthWestern NH down near Keene.
The plan is to meet at the Rt 119 parking area at 9am and head out for a full day of exploring... We will most likely hit some techinical terrain... just so you know... I own a 4x4 quad for a reason I like to use the 4x4 hehe..
Let me know
-Steve

I'd love to Steve but I'm still waiting on plastic to fix last ride's damage. Trail of Death type experience. First major plastic damage, hopefully last.</end quote></div>

Have you Ridden Pisgah before? Any headsup on the trails / type of riding?

Hey Steve, naw, haven't ridden Pisgah yet. I did some riding in VT where I have some property. They have a 40 mile trail that goes right through my land, but I haven't ridden up there since they required liability insurance for ATV riders because they use back class 6 roads as trail connectors. I mostly ride Claremont, NH. I just tried Hopkinton Everett Reservoir 2 weeks ago. I had a small roll where the top of my pickup box on the X2 smashed into a tree. The box got mangled pretty good. The frame is all good. Tough machine. I also did a charity ride in the wintertime up above Lincoln, NH in March on groomed skimobile trails. It was nice. I liked Hopkinton other than the trail I eventually rolled it on its side. I think it was called the River Loop or something like that. I rolled after going down an outside curve with a pretty bad off camber. I was hanging off the right side of the quad and just hit a rock enough to pop it over the last few degrees. Couple scratches on me. Not bad altogether.
