I just relocated to Kill Devil Hills NC for my job. I have trying to find a good place to go riding at. So far, I found nothing. As far as I can tell, this place sucks for atvs. Does anybody know any decent place to go riding at? I am having riding withdrawls.

Well, so far you are right. I live in Norfolk Virginia. And this area sucks for ATV's. You have to make road trips to really go anywhere to ride..... Buscoe Beach in Goldboro NC is not bad.....dont know how far that is from you. Its like 3.5 hour drive for me.

I'm down here in Kill Devil Hills NC. You really have to be snicky around here so the cops don't catch you. Found out, you can't ride on the beach. But, you can drive on it with your vehicle.

Yep, you can drive a truck on the beach but not an ATV......

I found a couple local spots (small) private land that dont mind me and the kids putting around. But for real riding we have to make road trips. Went to WVa this past July.....what a blast.......we have a little site on myspace if you want to check it out. Just look up sandbox bullies, portsmouth VA

The website for bigwoods cannot be found. Looked up its location and would be a 6hour drive for me. I would rather add another 1.5 hour onto drive and go to West Virginia. Trails Heaven Baby

I've been to Busco Beach about 15 times and Big Woods 4 times since they opened. They both are really great places to ride for sure but Busco Beach is gonna be a lot closer for you. Big Woods is just under an hour south of Wilmington on the NC/SC boarder.
