Down in SW ON (Chatham) myself about an hour from Windsor. Just got my OFATV membership yesterday so looking forward to checking out some of the local trails as Essex County has a club with 75+km of Trails. Also another club around Port Stanley/St Thomas with another 50+km so looking forward to have a few more places to ride within an hours drive.

You have ATV clubs like we have Snowmobile OFSC clubs up here? Do they charge you? I understand my Sled club fee due to the expense of grooming the trails but those same trails are free in the sled off season.

Midcity I will be up in Wawa fishing again on those dates but thanks for the offer. Happy trails.

Eliot Lake is one town that really caters to ATVs, nice trail and they allow ATVs on there streets so visitors can drive to there Motels and to gas stations for fill ups.

Home | Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicles $140 for a year membership good from date of purchase. I have no problems paying as I understand most of the cost goes towards insurance so that landowners who agree to have trails are covered and pro-ATV lobby efforts and public education. Since we don't have any crown land around it is all private individuals who are good enough to let the clubs use their land and make and maintain (sign) the trails. Personally the $140 is cheap to have legal access to trails and a group supporting the ATV industry in Ontario.

Ok I see, $140 is better the the $230 sled club fees. Our sled trails run on 90% crownland up here, so there are no ATV clubs in the summer.
