Jeff said that he has a frined who rides at bonnie carrie alot.He said that they closed alot of it off, but there is still a good bit of land to ride. He said that in the beginning they had 3 major trails= easy medium and difficult. However they have so many riders there that all the trails are fairly difficult. He said it is no place for a 2x4. Shane, I think me and you could handle it though. We both have pretty awesome 4x4's.

Here are the directions given on this site.
Bonnet Carre Spillway
7,700 acres of sandy, muddy terrain located 15 miles NW of New Orleans ,LA. Open year
round. Great area to explore and mud bog. To get here from the east on I-10: Exit I-10 at I-310
in Kenner. Go south on I-310 to Hwy 61 and exit right on 61. Go app. 5 miles to a town named
Norco. The spillway will intersect Hwy 61 immediately past this town. Enter the spillway on
the south side of Hwy 61. Parking areas are available as soon as you enter the spillway. From
the west on I-10: Exit I-10 in Laplace (exit 209) onto Hwy 51. Take 51 south app. 2 miles to
Hwy 61. Turn left on Hwy 61 and go app. 5 miles to spillway. Enter spillway as described
above.
Good luck Shane. Let me know how it was. I want to go next weekend for my birthday. I'll get a few frineds to bring their atvs too. They all have 2x4's so I'll be pulling them out all day
