Anyone up for a Hatfield mccoy / W.Virgina atv trip from 7/20 - 7/24???
I'd start the 700 mile road trip on the 19th after work around 4pm and arrive around wednesday morning around 8ish- and leave for back home sunday morning. That's a good 3.5 days of riding.


we can grab some lodging on the buffalo mtn trails or just tent it...?

 

I don't think I can afford to hit HM this year unless I get some overtime.

 

yeh- I hear ya! I figure the whole trip, if I bring my wife & kid- would cost me about $1k. Basically a room for 4 nights, food & gas. The permit is pretty cheap- $50- (not sure if that's per day or what ) If I go alone, I could do it for $500.

 

Too bad you weren't looking at the first few weeks of July, I could have probably worked something out

We should get a plan going in the fall for next summer! I have to request my entire year of vacation in November, which sucks, but I usually get what I request. I would definately be in, wife and kid too!

Stupid wedding to go to Saturday!

 

I'm a maybe for Saturday night... Still have some maintenance to do on my quad. Would you believe I haven't done anything to it since last weekend ? Haven't even washed it yet... Busy week... On a positive note I found the missing snorkel clamp sitting on top of the skid plate... I guess they really do catch EVERYTHING.

 

I can do sunday night also- everyone else good with sunday?
sunday actually works better for me-

we can have a big bon fire and bbq up some beef- then go for a short night ride...?
