Just an FYI to people who regularly read this thread: October Mountain State Forest is closed indefinitely due to damage received during recent pseudo-Hurricane Irene.

Updates can be found on the MA DCR website here:

DCR_Irene_Updates

Looks like its NH or secret trails for the near future. I hope this doesn't give them an excuse to keep it closed for the rest of the year (which I'm sure they'd love to do).

if anyone is interested- I'm riding sunday at 9am... either at pisgah, or on my local trails- either way, rain or shine, I'm riding!!!

if no one wants to ride pisgah, then I'll just do a tri-state run.

looks like it could be a rainy day- but I don't care, as long as it's warm.

I'd love to BG, but I just got power back tonight and have a feeling that this weekend is going to be busy getting things back together and catching up with chores. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels though, maybe a little test drive

I've been seriously contemplating a change to a something a little bigger lately

Nice new avitar BTW Did you pick it or did it appear....

had a good ride with wilson today- decided to call it a day after 30 miles- it was getting very busy on the trails around me and we were getting a little worried law might show up.

I'm busy monday morning & noon- but might be up for a late day ride somewhere- have to play it by ear

Hey guys sorry I have not been on lately. Haven't had much time with the new baby and work. Man when they say your life is going to change the minute that kid is born they are not kidding. But I wouldn't change it for the world. Love being a dad. So hopefully I will be able to get out riding soon.

I honestly don't even remember what life was like before my kids-
nothing in the world compares to raising a child (and nothing else matters in comparison)- the 2's are the absolute best- when their little personalities start showing- love every second of it.
(as I'm typing thig this right now, my 2 yo is pretending to be a dog and he's licking my arm )

I just got used to only sleeping 4 hours a night and watching blue's clues 20 times a day
