Welcome 06 Scrambler to the Midwest. I live in McHenry IL which is south west of you by about 30 miles. There is a place called Bong but its not so great. Don't waist your time. It is just several circles. Boring!! Its about 30-40 minute drive from you. We like to go north to the Dunbar trail system NW of Green Bay by about a hours drive. From there you can go in Michigan. We will ride on avg 200+ miles per day. Also a really great system is in Rhinelander WI. Lots of hills and turns. You also have the Cheese Trails wich is west of you. Its flat but okay if you are riding with kids.

I been riding at Harlan KY so I understand what you mean. You would like Rhinelander then. Just do a google search and the info will pop up.

Clark and Jackson County. Outstanding and well marked trails there too. They're connected to eachother making nearly over 300-400 miles total, I suppose you can add Eau Claire County too. This area is in Black River Falls, WI. A great place to stay would be in Hatfield, WI on Lake Arbutus. Pretty sweet. I know Bio is from this area too, and rides it alot.
