Little Monadnock Family Trails, NH
#1251
I was up there on saturday and wished i could have stayed for sunday, they had a lot of people already camping on saturday.
Trails were decent and hard to get lost on, a couple bonny ones, but not bad and well marked. Best part was it only took me 2.5 hours to get there, much closer than october MTN.
I hope they raised the amount thye had hoped for, it seemed like they were well organized.

did you climb the two "black diamond" trails? the devils mtn trail was a bit rough... but pretty short.
here's a pdf of the trail map.

we didnt do the devils den, but did the other. i dont think they were worse than some stuff at pittsfield or october. A couple technical spots, but it was nice to ride around without being harrased by a ranger or local cop.
it was odd to ride down a trail that dumped onto a dirt with a guy camping in the middle nowhere...you dont see that in Ma!

devils den was a lot worse (more technical) than the other one. I think we covered just about all the trails in under 1.5 hours- and we were moving slow.

if i go back up ill check it out, i did notice it didnt have a huge area, but still more trails than my neighborhood has to offer.
It was good to meet some of the guys from the club and talk about other riding spots, now i need to plan a trip to jericho park!

yes alot more than last time, also took the gps along. ran inot a few people who gave me some hints too. so more things to explore next time.
I would love to make all new signs lol. Maybe name some areas for reference points. Just seems like so much could be done to make it easier.
