One thing I notice with the single is the vibration you get at idle- having that one piston thumping really shakes the bars.

I just took it out in the rain- damn cold out there- my head is numb (left that wide open) ! Rincon lights up the trail nicely though, cant wait to do a night ride when the first snow storm hits!
I have no idea what the grizz is, I just assumed twin cause of the power. That thing is a beast.

As for the vibration, it is rough at start up but I notice its much less when it warms up. I've read that the newer ones ('08 and up) are much smoother. Maybe the fuel injection helps? Not sure.

Just emailed you a map of LMFT.

I have been to this area for the past couple years with my Jeep and club. I was wondering if there was a trail network for ATVs.

This is EXCELLENT news!! Its a beautiful area!! I'll definitely be checking it out next season!!

So- here's a quick breakdown of the LMFT ride today-

We (8 of us I think) started the day with me sinking my rincon in a few feet of stinky sewer muck immediately after pulling it off the trailer, I had to down a piece of humble pie as troy's grizz winched me out (still in the staging area! Look for pics courtesy of John ) and, after Jetblack had a tie-rod break on his brute, and wilson's flat tire only 10 miles into the ride- me, troy, john & sotto hit the trails for maybe another 15-20 miles before heading back to the trucks- Ended up with just me & troy tagging along with another group we found at the staging area- these guys made our pace seem like a snail. Both troy and I had to change our underwear after following these guys up a 20' rock cliff no exaggeration! I think these guys were averaging 30+ mph over and up the trails! One kid fell off his sport quad and I'm pretty sure broke a rib-

We ended up hitting 46 miles for the day before I had to switch to my reserve gas to get back- We got a little lost on the way back- but thanks to troy's keen animal instincts, we only had to back-track 3 or 4 times before getting our bearing We got back to the staging area by 4pm.

ehh- it was good seeing everyone anyway-

can't wait to do it again-

~peace~

Mike,

Good meeting you guys. Definitely alot of various terrain out there! Stuff I wouldn't even consider going up.

I wound up leading back Jetblacks buddies to Fire Pond - we had a good ride back and yet ANOTHER flat tire on Steve's Can-Am. That jeep we passed that was stuck the guys had just finished pulling it out.

Later,
-CS-
