Nice ride BG. If I know you I'd say you got it for about $2500 and next week when you sell it for $38,000 to buy a Hummer H1 you'll probably get whacked for some kind of capital gains tax...

BG, great ride! My wife has a 2005 GC with a hemi and all the bells and whistles. When the Outlander came out I liked it so much I tried to talk her into trading, no go. She loves her GC, good luck with yours. It goes pretty good for an SUV!

so- dealer had it on the lot for $29k - I got him down to $25k

his first offer on my trade-in was $7500
after telling him in a diplomatic way he should be ashamed of that offer- I spent the next 3 hours wheeling & dealing- till I got him up to $9800 on the avalance (which was a gift- because it needed a ton of repairs and he knew it) I even hit him up for a factory jeep sweatshirt that their service techs wear

hehe- the manager says at the end of the deal- " I never want to sell you another car again

I'm brutal with car dealers-

Correct but it is still worthwhile for me. I felt like I got my $76 worth out of the first day...
