I'm making a trip to Utah in January/February, and I need to know what lakes are ridable. I've heard Strawberry Res is. Anything else? Any Utah folk wanna ride with me?
Thanks

Well in Jan most of the lakes in Utah are frozen! They also may have 4 feet of snow on them too!

Best riding out here that time of year is Little Sahara west of Nephi! The sand is hard and you can run almost any machine almost any where you desire! That is the only time I run the sand. The days are usually warm with very cold nights. But that sand warms up real nice.

But again most of the higher elevationlakes are indeed frozen and inaccessible by quad. Though in the northern part of the state there are many snowmobile trails that may or may not lead one onto a frozen lake.

Let me know where you will be when and maybe we can hook up!

I was actually going to ride the dunes too, I just wanted to hit a lake on the second day.

I have to go to Lindon to visit my inlaws, and I wanted to take my Banshee as an excuse to get away! I'll keep you posted on when I'm coming. Where do you live? I talked with a kid today, named Brandon Cook, from Orem, and he wants to ride too, so it should be fun!
