That's pretty cool how Maine is doing it. Unfortunetly, I don't picture more than a couple other states along the route allowing ATVs. Maybe NH, Virginia, Carolinas?

It's about the coolest thing ever... i've spent time in that area and the idea of wheeling there along a long smooth ride with ocean views it killin me...There are like 800 miles of interconnected trails too i guess..

Yea, that trail is part of the Sunrise Trail system, which is hundreds of miles of trails in Downeast Maine. I have heard there are a few connections off the rail trail too. I'm hoping to get to see this trail this summer.

Nice positive thing Maine is doing,Jericho Park here in N.H. is about as close as the state will come to it for the time being.

I'm planning to hit up the trails there this spring/summer. I was just reading about this place a couple days ago...looks very good...It starts in Ellsworth which is only about an hour to hour and a half from me. It will be a good alternative to riding in Newport. Newport to Dover gets boring...wish they would figure out how to get past the portion that is shut down in Guilford!
