Was at Treverton this weekend to see what was going on, I know that the local police as well as the Northumberland county commisioners decided to close down coal hill because some drunk decided to roll his dune buggy at 2am.

Anyway they have very few rules at RAC / Treverton, but everywhere I look I see almost everyone of them being broken. There are kids way under 12 y/o riding bikes and quads all over the place, there are people with open fires, people drinking alcohol, and garbage everywhere. Rarely do you see people with a permit, and then you wonder why it's almost impossible to find places to ride anymore!?!

I saw 2 guys with a brand new dodge duelly pulling a trailer with 2 trx450r's, and a yfz450r and no permits, I hope they start enforcing it more guys like this spend all kinds of money on graphics and non-sense but they can's spend a measly $125 to ride all year.

I am a local and I won't be suprised when they close Treverton.

 

That's the kind of behaviour that gets areas closed down. Hope they get ticketed.

 

This same thing happen to a large gravel pit by me. I rode out there for years and a lot of people knew about it and on a saturday there might be 5 people or 25 bouncing around out there. owner kind of turned a blind eye to it. I talked to him one and he said I am not giving you permission but i'm also not telling you to leave. it was one of those deals.

Well all the sudden people start dumping fridges old cars would come out there and set things on fire such as the cars. Guess who has to pay to get this crap removed. the owner.
It kept getting worse and worse.
Well what ended up being the last draw was we where out there one afternoon like normal this young punk brought two clown friends with him from Iowa. Well they decided to ride in the field around the pit as well. Well the farmer was out in that field planting it while these A holes where out there ripping the crap out of his freshly planted field. Well to make a long story short the owner went ape on everyone called the cops and everything. We left before the cops showed up after talking to the owner but man was he pissed and rightfully so. It's be closed up tight ever since.
People had been riding out there for 20 years i guess.
