Default Looking for trails in Arkansas or Oklahoma.

My wife and I ride with ten other couples. We have been riding ATV's as a group for about twelve years. We all now ride either Rangers or RZR's. We always spend a week in Colorado around Lake City or Ouray in late spring or early summer. We also make at least two five days trips to Arkansas in the spring and fall. In the past, we have ridden in the Mena, Arkansas area with a couple of days spent in Wolf Pen Gap. We rode the Mena area last week and found the forest service has closed many of our favorite trails. We are now looking for some new connected trails with a lodge or group of cabins within easy distance from the trails. We have ridden in Oklahoma some, but find most of the trails are not connected. You must trailer your vehicle from trail to trail. Oklahoma also isn't as ATV friendly as Arkansas. We are not interested in simply riding a bunch of logging roads through the forest, but prefer trails with medium to high difficulty.

Any suggestions? Folks have told me some pretty good trails exist around Russleville, Arkansas; but they didn't have any specifics.

Thanks

Ted

Mill Creek riding area in the Ozark National Forest is a great place to ride. More miles of trails than Wolf Pen. Mulberry Mountain(www.mulberryriverranch.com) has cabins and camping. They are located about 17 miles north of Ozark off hwy 23. The trails would be rated anywhere from easy to difficult, with plenty of steep hill climbs.
