Just a shoutout to the Michiganders. Leota is still rocking and rolling nice parking lot outhouse camping is available with permit. Park at the Jonesville parking lot you can hit the main trail heads from there.


If anyone one is going out myself and a few buddies will be there this sunday morning for the day.

 

I can't remember how to get there but I love that place. I especially like riding there from Labor Day until Memorial Day when not too many people are there.

 

This time of the year is perfect as well, if you like cold weather riding which doesn't bother me a bit.

It is rather easy to get to right off old27 north in clare county. If your coming from down state 75n to 10 to old 27n and turn left just past long lake road. follow the sign postings from there.

Im so burned out from going to Mio so much this past year.

 

I hear you on the Mio burnout. My friend has property just north of town and they ride around Mio 99% of the time. The good news is he doesn't need a map of the area.

 

Well if anyone is interested in going riding. I know of about 4-5 of us going riding again.
Last weekend was great just about .5 inch of snow on the trails and no one was on them i was the first to hit almost everytrail i rode on.

Late in the day a pair of rzr's came thru and ripped up the sand hills next to the parking area.


Overall good ride i would like to stay 2 days anyone know of a hotel or motel near by its to cold to camp right now.
