Fort Worth riding area????
#1
I was at Marshall Creek Sunday and I talked to a guy who said he heard there is a place to ride at Marine Creek in NW Fort Worth. I know there is a small lake there where they have jet boat races. It is right next to the Tarrant County College Northwest Campus.
Has anyone ever heard of this place? If so is it any good?
Also if anyone lives around Weatherford could you please swing by the old Flying P and see if they have re-opened. At least that place would not be underwater now. Marshall Creek is about 1/3 the size it used to be due to high lake levels. A lot of the road is now under water at the North End.

The place you are talking about is one exit past the college. Its on Old Denton Hwy. You just have to kind of pull off in the grass and unload. There are hardly any trails. Its is an old rock quary (sp). So there is a lake down in there. Its just a big rocky open area. There is a spot with a really steep hill and 4 wheel drive trucks go out to tackle that. For the most part its a pretty boring place to ride.
