WELL THE UNTHINKABLE HAS FINALLY HAPPENED!!...FORKED RIVER HAS RECENTLY BEEN CLOSED!!..SO I WOULD PERSONALLY LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME OUT OF MY DAY TO THANK ALL THE A$$HOLES THAT USED AND ABUSED THIS PLACE BY LEAVIN ALL THERE TRASH,AND BROKEN CAR/TRUCK PARTS BEHIND!!..I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES ME AND SEVERAL OTHER GUYS ON HERE PLEADED WITH PEOPLE TO BRING OUT WHAT YOU BRING IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. AND NOW THANKS TO LAZY SLOBS THE PLACE HAS BEEN CLOSED!!. Ive always wanted to ride there I guess it'll be just a memory for me too.I wouldn't be suprised if it had nothing to do w slobs or spodes.I can guarentee the next thing you'll see is a godamn golf course or freaking housing devolpment.I live in Somerset and we have a policy called Save the open land policy.The town voted it in,the taxes are being raised slightly so the town can buy up remaining open land,farms.next thing ya know its got a goddamn housing development on it.I think we are being decieved here and the town is full of BS.I really think its to shyster the people and make money for all the A$$holes running our town.ya know all those people are for themselves and not for by the people for the people.Its all about the shareowners and politicians.If ya really look hard into it,its not even an evironmental thing,as far as Im concerned thats just a front to take the land and its all about the money.happy roosting maybe ya could just sneak around or get all your friends and either protest or get a petition and a laywer split the costs with all your friends and quad riders and hit town hall.maybe just maybe it will be reversed then again they say ya cant fight city hall.Well hope that helps,I know how ya feel about irresponsible riders,ya want to wring there necks until there heads explode>

never got a chance to go there and am sorry i did.....this is very disappointing for NJ riders who no where to ride......these states like california should be grateful they have so many when we have near nothing.....it isn't fair and the state should take serious action against crap like this.

I thought W. was going to do something about this but it will be awhile.....we have the pine barrens but they are nothing to us considering we can't ride there.....

I personally just found a new place....and had a place all to myself which should never get taken away......right now i ride in North Haledon at the High Mountain Reserve.....its miles of woods and deep *** mud.....my other place is in the catskills in NY at my grandparents house......


Again it still isn't fair that we put up with this crap.....its a damn shame

 

alot of people didn't get a chance to ride forked river....but people still can, but u run the chance of gettin ticketed,fined,and possibly towed/impounded!!..now who wants to take that risk when u go out for a good day of riding?!...no one wants to deal with that hand of cards but living in nj we have lerned to play that hand that we have been delt, and some of us have gotten very very very good at it!!. and a talent like that is nuttin to b proud of but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!!..plain and simple....NJ SUCKS!!..but u can still ride forked river but everyone has to find there own ways in now...but ill give everyone a hint right now!!...4wd is suggested!!!
