Is Snake River a legit riding spot, as in legal, marked and so on?

Yes it is leagal. The trails are not maintained by anyone as far as I know so they are not marked real well. I haven't been there for a couple of years but there are signs with gross vehicle weight restrictions and authorizing ATV use. I just spoke to a guy at work who has a cabin right on one of the trail systems who confirmed that the river crossings may be tricky at best.

Tom, and anyone else interested in going, here's the plan rain or shine. Meet at the Sportsman Cafe in Mora @ 09:00. It is on the north end of town right on Hwy. 65. Have breakfast and head for the trail between 09:30-09:45. There are NO SERVICES on the trail, so pack accordingly ie. food, water/pop, gas, etc. Ride untill the mud starts to stiffen and can't ride no more.

E-mail me with your phone number so if there are any changes I can get a hold of you. I won't see my mail till I get home tonight after 19:00.

ps. Bring a tow strap cause even my Scrambler gets stuck every once in a while!

Not sure how to get to Mora from St. Cloud, you will have to look at a map. The Sportsman Cafe is on the north end of town on hwy. 65, you can't miss it. Age?? Well I guess I'm probably old enough to be your fath.......er...older brother. Be sure to e-mail me your number in case anything changes.
