Can anyone confirm that the $60 annual permit is good for all six trail systems listed on the Spearhead trails site? I'm assuming that it is, similar to the way the different Hatfield trail systems are in WV but I've not been able to find that being stated for certain anywhere.

What's the best budget lodging, even tent camping around the Mountain View trail near Saint Paul VA? I've recently taken a break from the workforce so I've got time to go ride but will need to be thrifty on lodging with no income currently.

If there's anyone around the Raleigh, Wilson, Goldsboro NC areas that would be interested in getting together for some trips to explore these Spearhead trails or the Hatfield McCoy trails then PM me. I prefer riding in small groups, 2 to 6 utility type ATV and moderate pace not racing. I'm also open to taking dirt bikes but haven't ridden much single track before. I've handled the bike fairly well on open rocky trails at Uwharrie.

 

I work at Spearhead Trails. You are correct in the fact that the $60 cost covers all 550 miles over 6 trails systems.
