Hello, It's real tentative right now, but there should be a few riders from this forum and ATV Time riding WNF, Logan, OH. this coming weekend.
I'll be camped/parked at Williams' camp ground.
Hope to see the likes of RubiconBob, SLB300ex, and DCSP500.
Please post here, if going. I'd love to meet more folks from this forum.
Later, Mike(4-MAN-S in "Time")

I'm gonna try to go down there this weekend along with a friend (I'm on a 300ex, he's on a Kawasaki 300 dirt bike). Thats if my axle comes in before thursday (bent it at wellsville a couple weeks ago). I'll do a search in the forums but I'm wondering if there is anywhere we can get a hotel/motel room nearby. I've never been down there so I don't know too much about the place. We will probably head down friday night (about a 4 hour drive) ride all day saturday then head back home that night. I can buy a sticker for the park when I get down there right? thanks for any info

Hey Slim-- There are plenty of motels within 30 min. of most of the trailheads. This IS turkey hunting season, so you may be competing with hunters for a place to stay. I would consider staying in Lancaster,OH., at one of the "chain" motels. Then you can drive 30-40 min. on into WNF.
Have a good time, I will MOST LIKELY be staying at Williams' campground. They have a little store and they sell daily WNF permits.
There is also a store in New Straitsville, that sells permits. Later Mike.

Hey guys i am from Jackson,Ohio.I have been up there one time before. I usually go to the WNF in Ironton or Oak hill.I am waiting also for an axle to put on my 2000 Warrior. Me and a friend of mine are planning on heading up there this weekend.
Could you tell me how to get to the campground and the store where i can get my permit.
What trailhead are you guys heading to?
I would like to hook up with you guys cuz it is always fun to meet new people to ride with.
What do you all ride?
Well ill be waiting for your reply!
Thanks!

I can help you out on the campground and store issue. Take SR 33 East out of Lancaster, go past Logan. Right before Nelsonville, you will exit at SR 595. Go North (left turn) for about 6-10 miles. About 2-3 miles past SR 276 you will see Dawley Road on the right. Take a right on Dawley and go about 1 mile and you will see Williams Campground on the right. The store is about 100 yards past the campground entrance. Williams Campground is not exactly a five star campground. That is all I can say about it.

krazee- Directions from Nelsonville= 33N. to S.R. 595(look for the new Rocky Boots warehouse)--Turn Rt.(N.) onto 595, check odometer HERE. Go exactly 5.2mi., to an "S" bend on 595, look Rt., you'll see Williams' Carry-out/Campground sign, turn Rt., go approx. 1 mi., can't miss it.
If you start seeing "Camp Ohio" signs, you've driven too far north on S.R. 595 by 2/10-4/10mi.

Ohhhh man, just got back from wnf. I am so sore. The place is great though. Lots of trails. We parked by the tailer selling food and drinks off of C-24 between Monday Creek and Snake Hollow. Wayne is more difficult than Marienville imo. VERY easy to get lost at Wayne unlike Marienville. BTW is there a any other way to get from the parking off of C-24 (east of carbon hill) to the Long Ridge riding area besides going along the road?? Or don't the police mind?
