I'm going to HV for the first time. Any suggestions on where to ride or camp??

 

Hungry Valley is great. Make sure you ask for a map at the gate. There are lots of trails in the park some of my favorites are Vic's Cat, Badlands, and Backbone. I like to camp at Circle Camp, but anywhere is good. The main entrance is out of the city of Gorman, but you can enter off Smokey Bear rd. if you're coming N on the 5. Make sure you check out Freeman Canyon. They also have an adjacent MX track you can ride too, in the off season you can usually get on without a problem. Anyway I hope this helps have a good trip.

It's been a while since I was there, but one thing I would suggest is finding a campsite that is sheltered from the wind. We just about got blown away the last time we were there.
