Sand pit near Moose Lake MN?

I`ve heard theres a sand pit in Moose Lake Minnesota. Is it right off the Soo line? I`ve never went up that far. Anyone know? Thanks

Yes it is. It is just a few intersections north of the downtown area. There is a trail that veers off to the left down a hill which takes you to it.

You may also want to stop in at the fire museum (old railroad depot) on your way there. It is free and quite interesting.

Can you get to it from the soo line? Or do you drive there and unload. I have a cabin near Willow river, so I am familiar with Moose lake. I`ve just never riddin anything but sleds there. Thanks
