Made my first trip this weekend. The place is pretty nice. There is a long valley with wide fire roads and easy open areas where the little kids can ride. The hills on the East side are full of hard a$$ SINGLE TRACK trails!! To the West there is access to a bunch of National Forest trails which you can ride up into the mountains. Great place!!

Another great thing about Hungry Valley is the Snow Riding. It doesn't stick for long but if you can get their one or two days after a snow the whole place is covered. Alamo Mt. usually has snow on it most every winter.

YZGUY, What other places do you ride and what type of bike/atv are you riding?

We have one of everything! I ride a 400EX and a 4X4 Rancher. I'll also ride the girlfriends 300EX if it's mostly tight trail riding. The kids have YZ125's, Blaster, 250EX, Recon, and an LT-80.

Our favorite areas are Ocotillo Wells and Rasor. We do Glamis and Dumont a lot too. In summer we do the San Bernardino Mtns., Inyo National Forest, or Pismo, where it's cooler.
