Hi. Theres a few places two ride up there. Theres the Solana State Forest. Theres on state trails there but theres a buch of hunting and logging roads. Theres also a buch of hunting trials thorugh there. But if you dont know that area very good than I would say away from there. We go hunting up in the Solana State Forest and my dad lived there when he was a kid. So we know the area vary good. Its right on HWY 65. Do not ride alone in this place.
Theres RED TOP ATV trial up in Isle. And then there also the Soo Line trail with a buch of other trials going off of that. GO to the DNR's web site for more info. you can look their web site up on this site under Trails.

I am on the same road you are talking about. My cabin is on Minnewawa though. Sorry I wont be up there that week. I can tell you there are plenty of trails to ride in that area, but you have to do a little dirt road riding to get to them. If you can get a hold of a map, there is a road called the "Balsam Truck trail". It is NE of Big Sandy and there are a bunch of trails up there. I usually go there on the dirt road by the little Shamrock gas station about 2 or 3 miles from Sathers store. It is a big area so if you dont know it be careful riding alone and carry a GPS if you can.
Also some of the other trails closer to Big Sandy will take you into the Savannah State Park where it is not legal so watch out for those. There is better riding the farther east you go.
Good luck..........

Theres too much swamps up in Sonala. JK. You better get your mud tires on and your winch warmed up. Because you'll need it. Theres no state trials there but lots of logging and hunting roads. Lots of expolaring up there. NO I will not be up there.
