Drummond island

Very interesting question. We are leaving a week from tomorrow to head up to Drummond Island for a week of fishing and riding. My buddy contacted the local DNR guy on the island and asked him questions about riding on the island. The local DNR guy said that the 60 miles of motorcycle trails on the island are very rocky and narrow. He said that few if any atvs actually ride on them. He said that the state forest roads on the island are all open to riding unless they are posted otherwise. Also, the local community has passed an ordinance permitting atv use on the side of the roads, except for the state routes. The local sheriff does not like the ordinance, so he likes to ticket people that he catches on the state route. Email mail me and I will reply back to you in a few weeks when we get back with more information.
